MISSION STATEMENT - To reduce recidivism of ex-offenders by providing an array of hope through employment advocacy, linkage to resources, and provisions to reduce traditional and nontraditional barriers hindering career and life advancement.

*Ex-Offender job search training workshop
*Pre-interview grooming services: basic hair cut and/or trim
*Resume submitted to Employers/Staffing Agencies that hire ex-offenders

*Community information of resources & services
*Employer Benefits to Hiring Ex-offenders
*One-on-One Personal consultation: Individualized Placement Assistance/Assessment
*Wage & Skills Increasement Planning (raises, added training, value added actions)
*Job Matching

*Retention Advocacy Services: 30 day, 60 day, 90 day follow up
*Employment Advocacy (will contact 3 employers to speak on your behalf)

 

 Orientation Times: every Monday at 9:00 am & 11:00 am

Workshops are held: Tuesday - Friday  9am - 1pm

    I created a clothing closet at the Kansas City Community Release Center for those offenders addiving with nothing. I can also assist if an offender needs a sport coat, tie or even a suit. But our supply is limited since we have no funds to replace. If anyone has leads on where we can obtain additional clothing, we would love to hear about it.
