Orientation
We hold free weekly orientations every Monday at 9 A.M., 11 A. M., and 3 P.M. We also hold a 1 P.M. orientation every other Monday. If you would like to sign up for an orientation class please contact Beyond The Conviction at (816) 842-4975 and a representative will be happy to assist you.
4 Day Development Workshop
We offer a 4 day workshop that educates clients on many subjects. We discuss tactics for finding employment, continuing education, and entrepreneurship. All classes are Tuesday threw Friday from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M.
*All workshops clients must complete the orientation session prior to attending the workshop.
Resume & Job Development Sessions
The resume and job development session's are conducted on a one on one basis. Each session is one hour long. The resume session involves developing a proper resume for job searching, a customized cover letter, and a customized letter of barrier explanation. All 3 papers come together to create a resume development package that increases clients chances of attaining an interview. The job development session takes the resume development package and distributes it online to our list of "At Risk Job Seeker Friendly List" of employers that have hired At Risk Job Seekers before. During the job development session we also work with online job search web sites and utilize the internet to increase job opportunities.

Intro to Basic Computer Communications Workshop
We offer an Intro to Basic Computers training course. This course covers many subjects including: computer parts, computer operations, e-mail, typing, and more. Classes are currently held every other week from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. Monday threw Friday. To sign up for the class you must call (816) 842-4975 and sign up for the class.
